DeSantis Gunhide has supplied gun holsters and tactical carry gear to DHS, TSA, FBI, USSS, and federal agencies across the globe, alongside police departments and service members who put the same equipment through a full deployment. This collection covers the specialty rigs built for that work, including SMG carry systems, buttstock gear, and hard-use bags for military personnel and security professionals. Everything here is hand-built in our New York shop, family-owned and operated since Gene DeSantis made his first holster at the kitchen table in 1972.

What does DeSantis offer for military and tactical carry?
This collection holds our specialty rigs, including the DSD Rig for submachine gun and magazine carry in 9mm and .223 configurations, the Storm Packer for the Beretta CX4 Storm, the Buttstock Cheek Pad, and the EDP Bag. For pistol carry in a tactical setting, our duty holsters and Pegasus Kydex duty line carry the retention systems most units require.
Does DeSantis sell to the military and government buyers directly?
Yes. DeSantis holds a GSA schedule under contract GS-07F-222CA and currently supplies DHS, TSA, FBI, USSS, and other federal agencies. Will you ship to APO, DPO, and FPO addresses?
Yes. Orders to APO, DPO, and FPO addresses ship via USPS Priority Mail. Most in-stock items leave our shop within two to three business days, though military mail transit is difficult to predict and typically runs seven to ten business days after that.
What is the difference between a military holster and an everyday carry holster?
A military or duty holster is built around retention and access while wearing kit, meaning body armor, a loaded gun belt, and a chest rig all sit between your hand and the pistol. Daily carry holsters prioritize concealment and comfort instead. Our IWB and OWB collections cover the everyday carry side.
Are these products available in leather, Kydex, and nylon?
Yes, across the catalog. The rigs in this collection lean on ballistic nylon for weight and weather resistance, while our tactical pistol holsters are offered in premium saddle leather and in Pegasus Kydex. Material is listed on every product page.
Do you carry gun belts and slings for a tactical setup?
Yes. Our belt collection runs from a 1 1/4 inch belt through a 2 1/4 inch duty belt, and our sling collection covers carbine sling options for long gun carry.
Can I find a holster for a specific service pistol?
Yes. Use the holster finder to filter by firearm and see every model we build for a Beretta M9, SIG Sauer pistol, S&W, or Glock. If you cannot find a fit, contact us, and we will point you to the right rig or discuss a custom build.
