What's the difference between a horizontal shoulder rig and a vertical shoulder holster?

A vertical shoulder holster carries your pistol with the muzzle pointed down, which some shooters find more comfortable for all-day wear. Both carry styles work well under a jacket; it comes down to personal preference and how you train.
Are DeSantis shoulder holsters good for larger handguns?
Yes. Shoulder carry is one of the best options for heavier firearms and full size semi-automatic pistols. The shoulder harness distributes weight across both shoulders rather than concentrating it at your waistband, making it more comfortable than a waistband holster for larger guns.
