The last leather EDC belt you'll buy. Double-layer premium saddle leather, hand-built in the USA, designed to carry a holster, mag carrier, light, and the rest of your everyday carry tools without sagging or stretching. Available in black with a nickel buckle or tan with a brass-tone buckle. Built on the same standard the DeSantis family has held since 1972.

Why DeSantis?

DeSantis GunHide has been hand-building leather goods in the United States since 1972. What started at Gene DeSantis' kitchen table is now one of the most trusted names in concealed carry — still family owned, still American made, still building leather EDC belts and holsters for shooters who want carry gear with real craftsmanship behind it.

Double Leather Lined Belt FAQs

Double Leather Lined Belt FAQs

What size belt should I order?
Belt size is measured from the buckle's leather fold to the middle hole, not from your pant size. To find your size, measure a leather belt that fits you well from the fold to the hole you currently use. Order that measurement. If you wear a 34" pant, your waist size and belt size are not always the same number, so go by belt measurement, not pant size, for a secure fit.
Is this belt strong enough for everyday concealed carry?
Yes. The double-layer premium saddle leather construction is built for the weight of a holstered firearm, a mag carrier, and the rest of your carry tools. It holds rigidity through long days of daily wear without sagging or stretching like traditional belts or a regular department-store belt.
Will this belt work with DeSantis IWB and OWB holsters?
Yes. The 1.5" width works with most DeSantis IWB and OWB leather holsters, mag carriers, and Kydex builds. Each holster product page lists exact belt width compatibility; most run 1.5" or 1¾" loops and slots.
What's the difference between the black and tan options?
Black belts ship with a nickel buckle. Tan belts ship with a brass-tone buckle. Both are built from the same double-layer premium saddle leather and carry the same construction. The choice is purely aesthetic, so pick the one that matches your boots, your holster, or the rest of your everyday carry rig.
How does this compare to a duty belt or a regular belt?
A duty belt is built wider and stiffer for uniform carry on the outside of the pants. A regular belt won't support a holstered firearm without sagging. The Double Leather Lined Belt sits between the two. It's heavy duty enough for concealed carry under daily clothes, sized to feed through standard belt loops, and finished clean enough to wear with anything.
