What is a Level I holster and who is it for?
A Level I holster combines passive retention from the molded holster body with an active retention mechanism. In the Quick Safe, that mechanism is a patent pending ejection port lock with an intuitive thumb release. Level II retention is the standard for plain clothes law enforcement, off-duty officers, security professionals, and military professionals in a high-risk environment who want maximum retention without giving up draw speed.
Will the Quick Safe fit my Glock?
The Quick Safe is currently offered for Glock 17, 19, 19 Gen 5, 19X, 23, 32, 36, 44, 45, 43X MOS, and 48 MOS fitments, including sub-compact firearm models and a long list of red dot and weapon-mounted lights combinations (Streamlight TLR-7, TLR-7A, TLR-7 Sub, Surefire XSC). How does the active retention work?
The patent pending lock seats inside the ejection port of the Glock and stays engaged until intuitive thumb pressure releases it. The lock has cleared strength testing past every standard and pairs with passive retention from the molded Kydex shell for dual-layer security on a single, consistent draw stroke.
Can I use it with a weapon-mounted light?
Yes. The Quick Safe Undercover self-secures with or without a weapons light attached, so the same retention holster handles a bare Glock or a Glock with a Streamlight TLR-7, TLR-7A, TLR-7 Sub, or Surefire XSC mounted to the rail.
What belt does the Quick Safe fit?
The holster ships with 1 3/4" belt loops, sized for a 1 3/4" duty belt or gun belt. Style Y94 1 1/2" belt loop attachments are sold separately for slimmer belts. Adjuncts in development include a High Ride Belt Slide, MOLLE plate for a plate carrier or tactical vest, Border Patrol back, and Drop Leg system to extend the mounting system across body armor and duty setup configurations.
Is the Quick Safe RMR and red dot compatible?
