A Word From the President

In a world burdened with increased danger, the need for the best law enforcement equipment has become more paramount than ever. At DeSantis, our dedication to the men and women of the Armed Forces, as well as those in Law Enforcement, has taken on an even more vital sense of importance. We are honored to provide the toughest equipment to support the toughest missions at home and abroad.

Since our inception in the 1970's, it has been our doctrine not to rest on our successes but rather to constantly strive for perfection. Our global reputation for quality only serves to encourage our research and development into new and improved areas of design and materials.

DeSantis holsters are the first choice of the FBI, Secret Service, Homeland Security, US Air Marshals as well as many other agencies across the globe. We look upon this as a responsibility to dedicate ourselves to providing the Quality, Performance and Dependability that is not only required, but so richly deserved.

Custom Shop

Over the years, DeSantis Gunhide has been asked to create many different products, and many of them have made it into the ranks of our catalogued line. On very rare occasions, we have made one of a kind items including custom holsters for a past United States president. Listening to our customers has been a worthwhile experience for both DeSantis and the end user. Although we have largely limited our custom work to Federal Law Enforcement Agencies and Police Departments, we are now prepared to consider special orders for the individual end user.

The custom shop will also produce holsters for guns that are no longer manufactured, and those that sell in small numbers. In the past these holsters had been available, and we are pleased to report that now they can be purchased again, on a special order basis. There will be a $50.00 minimum charge for these non-inventoried items.

Custom designs, exotic skins, special basket weaving, initials, and horsehide will be featured through the custom shop, on a POR/time available basis. Now at DeSantis, you can have it YOUR WAY! Call or write to discuss the possibilities of your dream holster becoming a reality.

Shipping Charges

Applies to continental United States only

New York State residents add applicable sales tax.
Shipping charges in New York State are taxable.

DeSantis does not ship via United States Postal Service unless the customer will assume full responsibility of any lost or damaged package once it leaves our factory. DeSantis will only ship Postal Service via Global Express Guaranteed or Express Mail. All charges will apply. Postage will be added after order is submitted and reviewed by our customer service department.

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico will be sent via UPS 2nd Day Air. Additional charges will apply.

For Next Day Air, Second Day Air, Three Day Select or International shipments, shipping charges will be determined after order is submitted and reviewed by our customer service department.

International Customers may submit payment via international money order in U.S. funds only. Please email customer service at contact@desantisholster.com for shipping and handling charges.
 

All in stock items usually ship within 2-3 business days. Due to circumstances beyond our control, backordered, or special order items make take up to 4 weeks for delivery. If you selected air shipping and your item is in stock, your order will ship the same day if placed before 12pm EST. Orders placed after 12pm EST are processed the next business day. Be advised that business days are Monday through Friday. If you select AIR shipping your estimated time of arrival does not include Saturday or Sunday. If you have any questions regarding your order please contact Customer Service at 800-424-1236. Returned orders are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Please call our Returns Dept. to obtain a Return Authorization Number.


Return Merchandise

Merchandise returned for credit, exchange or repair MUST have prior factory authorization. Our receiving department will refuse parcels without authorization. Items that are discontinued, used, non-stocked, custom made, altered or not purchased directly from DeSantis cannot be returned.

Charges: When returning your product for exchange or repair, please include $8.50 for return shipping and handling fees. Repairs will be made at the factory’s discretion upon receipt of merchandise. If there is a charge for your repair you will be notified before the work is performed. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, check or money order. Make check or money order payable to DeSantis Holster and Leather Goods.

Claims for returns or exchanges must be made within ten days of receiving the product. Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking charge. Claims for shortages must be made within 48 hours (2 working days) of receipt of goods. The claim will be considered only if parcels are received “intact”.

Since DeSantis cannot control the security of the merchandise after it leaves the Factory, all claims for damages, etc., occurring in transit, must be made with the trans-shipper.

Saleable merchandise, which has remained in dealer/retailer inventory for more than 45 days, will not be accepted for credit. This merchandise may be exchanged (at the Company’s discretion) for a similar product of equal value but will be subject to a 20% restocking charge.

Shipments that are refused delivery, for reasons not under the company’s control, will be charged 5% of the total value of merchandise shipped. This fee, along with shipping and handling charges, WILL be applied to the reshipment of the order. If the order is cancelled, the 5% fee WILL be applied to next order.

DeSantis currently supplies holsters and accessories to DHS, TSA, FBI, USSS and other federal agencies throughout the globe. For volume orders, contracts, government purchase orders, please contact our Contract Administrator at s.falek@desantisholster.com.

APO or FPO addresses will ship via United States Post Office Priority Mail. Please select Military Mail during your order checkout and your shipping charges will be adjusted once we receive your order. Most orders for in stock items ship within 2-3 business days. Please keep in mind that military mail is slow (especially during war time) and we can only estimate its arrival, which is 7-10 business days.
